I asked Elen (Account Manager) in more detail about the business card project just because, having taken a loss shortly before with the design firm I found on my own, I wanted to be sure I knew exactly what I was going to get. "I'm looking to expand, either by hiring employees or more likely by turning to resources such as smarterwork, which can help me to quickly meet many of my startup needs without my having to take much risk. I turned to smarterwork to have a corporate logo designed, which I need to build a Web site and print business cards/stationery. My mistake was not turning to smarterwork in the beginning, even though I had known about it and remembered it for its unique project management process. I initially hired some design firm I found on the Web, and the output was extremely lousy, even after going through 25-30 designs. I wrote off the loss and regretted the whole thing.
